Ripley
Ripley was the first branch to be opened over 25 years ago. Since then, Ripley has been refurbished and updated with many facilities including digital radiography, ultrasonography, and dental facilities as well as laser therapy.

Our staff consists of 2 vets and a dedicated team of nurses so you will always see a familiar face when you bring your pet in. The nurses are available for general advise on weight, dental care, flea and worming and also look after reception. One of our vets also has a special interest in exotics and is available for exotic consultations most days of the week.
Should your pet require hospitalisation, we can arrange transfer to our hospital at Heanor.

Nottingham (Wollaton)
The Wollaton surgery is the most recent branch and was opened in 2002 to provide Nottingham clients with a friendly and accessible surgery to take their pets for consultations, vaccinations and routine or minor surgery.
Heanor
Our Heanor hospital was opened over 20 years ago in a converted NHS maternity hospital. As well as providing consultations 7 days a week, we provide a wide array of investigative and treatment facilities as well as 24 hour hospitalisation for our clients from all the Ambivet branches.

Our facilities include two operating theatres, digital radiography, rigid and flexible endoscopy, ultrasonography, in-house haematology and biochemistry machines, microscopy, orthopaedic equipment including hydrotherapy and dental facilities. As well as vets dedicated to surgery and medicine, we also have vets with a special interest in exotic animals and orthopaedics.
Our team consists of 3 vets permanently based at Heanor, (with all vets from all branches covering evening surgery and out of hour/weekend care), a dedicated team of nurses and receptionists, and the hard working staff in the office.
Patients hospitalised overnight are monitored closely by our well trained nurses and have access to overnight veterinary care if needed.
